Installation Instructions

             Ios (Iphone & Ipad):

 

  1. Open the browser by tapping on the Safari icon, typically located on your home screen. The main browser window should now be visible. (Note that you must use Safari. Apple does not allow any other browser to be used for this process.)

  2. Navigate to the home page of the forum.

  3. Tap on the Share button at the bottom of the browser window. It's represented by a square with an up arrow in the foreground.

  4. The iOS Share Sheet will now appear, overlaying the main browser window. Select the option labeled Add to Home Screen.

  5. The Add to Home interface should now be visible. Edit the name of the shortcut icon you are creating. This text is important: It represents the title that will be displayed on the home screen. Once you are done, tap the Add button.

  6. You will be taken back to the home screen, which now contains a new icon mapped to your forum. When the forum app icon is clicked, your forum will open as a separate standalone app.

Android:


 

  1. Open the browser by tapping on the Chrome icon, typically located on your home screen. The main browser window should now be visible.

  2. Navigate to the home page of the forum.

  3. Touch the overflow button (three vertical dots at the top-right) and select Add to Home Screen.

  4. Choose a title for the new icon and press Add.

  5. You will be taken back to the home screen, which now contains a new icon mapped to your forum. When the forum app icon is clicked, your forum will open as a separate standalone app.
